Cancellation policies

To summarize, Deposits and payments are non-refundable, except in cases of dangerous weather conditions or other specified cancellation conditions. When you make a deposit or an initial payment to reserve a yacht charter or water sports package, the funds immediately go towards administrative duties, reserving the yacht, hiring the crew, and arranging activities. Your deposit secures the yacht and prevents it from being reserved by other clients. It's important to note that all deposits and initial payments are non-refundable, except in cases of hazardous weather conditions on the day of the charter. If you cancel the charter or if you fail to show up for the charter, you will be charged the full amount of the charter.

In case of hazardous weather conditions for day charters (excluding multi-day charters):

The hazardous weather conditions must be present at the time of departure. These may include storms falling into any of the following categories, with their epicenter passing within 5 miles of Miami:

- Named storms that affect the local Miami inland waters

- Storms labeled as "dangerous" with expected duration of more than 4 hours, affecting Miami's local inland waters

- Vessel advisories issued for local Miami inland waters, with winds exceeding 30 mph and/or waves higher than 3 feet.

In such cases, your charter will be rescheduled free of charge.

Other cancelable conditions

"Unforeseen circumstances" (ie death of immediate family member, hospitalization). Medical proof by certificate or medical report is required for the return of the deposit - reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Non-cancellable conditions:

Scattered showers, cloudy conditions, or a forecasted "chance of rain" does not consider cancelable weather conditions. News or media coverage that highlights a current event or sensationalizes local developments with weather, tourism hazards, medical risks, or other travel-related "warnings" other than official state or federal travel restrictions are not considered cancellable conditions.
